Otero Junior College Child Development Services operates an Early Head Start, Head Start, Migrant & Seasonal Head Start and Colorado Preschool Program. Early Head Start serves pregnant women, infants, and toddlers through home visitation, center base, and Family Child Care. The Colorado Preschool Program is offered only at the site in La Junta for at-risk children who will be entering Kindergarten the following year.
Ages Served:Head Start serves children 3 – 5 years old. Migrant & Seasonal Head Start serves ages 6 weeks – 6 years old during the agricultural season in the Arkansas & San Luis Valley.
