Poudre School District Early Childhood Program

“Helping families in our community give their children the best chance for success- from prenatal through preschool.” 

The Early Childhood Program with Poudre School District offers services to more than 1200 children and families through funding from Early Head Start, Head Start, Colorado Preschool Program, Special Education and Tuition-Based Preschool.  Children and families in Early Head Start receive prenatal parent education support, home visits, hearing and vision screenings, and socialization opportunities.  Children in the preschool program receive quality preschool services from licensed teachers, including socialization, language, literacy, vision and hearing screenings, parent education opportunities and more.  As a part of Poudre School District, most of our preschool classrooms are located within elementary schools, which give children the opportunity to be a part of the school community, easing transitions to kindergarten.  For more information, please visit our website.
