DMNS%204_edited-1.jpg"Head Start means opportunity.  It means children’s minds being stimulated to learn, it means helping kids to love learning. "

-Kay Franklin; Denver Great Kids Head Start Chief Fiscal Officer

"Head Start means empowerment; for both children and their families.  It is a synergy between and among various systems (education, health, family services) where the end result is greater then its’ parts when it comes to impacts on the families we serve. Head Start means quality early education and care for very vulnerable families!"

-Al Martinez; Denver Great Kids Head Start Director

6TS06_edited-1.jpg"Head Start is a vision of hope.  If you rob someone of their hope, you have taken away their most precious possession.  Head Start has always been the promise of a better future for families because Head Start recognizes that children are part of families that need to be strong to raise strong children."

-Kathy Orth; Former Denver Great Kids Head Start Family Services Administrator
